Getting Involved!


Thanks to the tremendous support from the many supporters, FIT For Charity Run has grown to become a well-recognised event in the financial industry in Tokyo.

If you would like to get involved in FIT For Charity Run, here’s how:

1. Participate as a Runner or Walker*

* Limited to financial or financial-related organisations.

In order to participate as a Runner or Walker, your employer is required to register and manage applications for its employees, families, and friends. Participation fee is JPY 5,000 per Runner or Walker. Those under the age of 16 can participate for free.

2. Participate as a Sponsor or Supporter*

* Limited to financial or financial-related organisations.

By becoming a Sponsor or Supporter, you not only raise your company’s brand awareness but also demonstrate your commitment to local community-based initiatives.

Sponsor Level (Donation value: JPY 500,000 or more per company)

Benefits of Becoming a Sponsor:

  • Exposure of corporate logo or name on the following:
    • FIT T-Shirts
    • Banners
    • FIT Official Website & SNS
    • Press Releases issued by FIT
  • Eligible to use FIT logo on corporate website and other marketing materials
  • Eligible to nominate and vote for beneficiary charity organizations
  • Eligible to attend networking reception event with selected beneficiary charity organisations
  • Eligible to attend CEO Session and Donation Ceremony
  • Company donations will be added to employee’s participation donations to determine the top three fundraising companies


Supporter Level (Donation value: JPY 350,000 or more per company)

Benefits of Becoming a Supporter:

  • Exposure of corporate logo or name on the following:
    • FIT Official Website & SNS
    • Press Releases issued by FIT
  • Eligible to use FIT logo on corporate website and other marketing materials
  • Eligible to nominate and vote for beneficiary charity organizations
  • Eligible to attend CEO Session and Donation Ceremony
  • Eligible to attend networking reception event with selected beneficiary charity organisations
  • Company donations will be added to employee’s participation donations to determine the top three fundraising companies

3. Participate as Goods and/or Service Provider*

*NOT limited to financial or financial-related organisations.
*Employees of Goods and/or Service Provider are eligible to register as a Runner or Walker.

We welcome organisations or individuals to donate goods, for used as prizes for the races or the Charity Raffle. Goods donated in the past include airline tickets, sports game tickets, hotel and restaurant gift certificates, drinking water, t-shirts and bags. Charity Raffle tickets are available for purchase on the day of the event for JPY 500 each. Proceeds of the raffle are donated to the beneficiary charity organisations.

We also welcome organisations or individuals who can provide services prior to or during the event. Services provided in the past include stretching and massage for the runners, taking photos and videos on the day of event, and featuring FIT in publications.

    • Press Releases issued by FIT
  • Eligible to use FIT logo on corporate website and other marketing materials

4 Participate as a Volunteer

We welcome volunteers from participating companies to help us run the logistics on the day of the event. Runners, Walkers, families, and friends can also participate as volunteers. In addition, the FIT For Charity Run Organising Committee is looking for volunteers to assist with the planning of the event throughout the year.
