September 13 Update

Note on individual registration and payment
Please use the web browser on your computer, smartphone or tablet to sign-up. We recommend Google Chrome as your web browser. You may not be able to sign-up successfully using Internet Explorer. Although the Relola iPhone app also has a registration function, but please do not use it. If an individual registers via the iPhone app, their registration will not be visible by the Company Admin or FIT Admin. Please do not make use of the Relola app until the event starts.

NB: This does not apply to companies that register participants in bulk.

Two registration methods

There are two ways to register your participants.

  1. Individual registration / payment: Participants register themselves at https://fitforcharity.relola.com and pay the participation fee by credit card.
  2. Corporate registration / payment: Company Admins create a list of participants according to the format available on Team Admin site and email it to fitsupport@relola.com. Participation fees will be collected by each company and a lump sum is to be wired in the name of the participant firm to the bank account designated by FIT.

FIT participating companies can use either one or both. Please note that FIT will not be able to limit the registration methods.

Each registration method is explained below.

Individual registration / payment
Individual participants access https://fitforcharity.relola.com, enter the necessary information, and register for participation and pay the participation fee (credit card payment). All participants must pay the participation fee. In addition, each FIT participating company has its own registration URL, and Company Admin should use this to route to the designated URL. This way, participants do not have to enter the company they belong to, hence eliminating the risk of erroneously selecting a different company.

Participants will be identified by the registered email address. Gmail and Outlook.com, have an alias function whereby emails sent to address+extra@gmail.com or address+extra@outlook.com will be sent to address@gmail.com or address@outlook.com. Users can designate the part after “+” e.g. "address+ test1@...", "address+ test2@...", etc; it is also possible to create multiple emails this way. By using this function, one email account can be used for multiple FIT participant registrations. This is a useful function for those who do not want to use their personal email address or create a new email account, so you may want to include this in your communications.

Corporate registration / payment
Please register as a participant as follows.

  1. Please log in to the Team Admin site, download "Bulk-registration-template" in the download material, and enter the participant information as follows. The contents to be entered in each column are as follows.
    * Please note that some column names do not represent their contents.
  2. Save the participant list with the file name <company ID>_<date>.xlsx.
    Example) 16421_2021-08-23.xlsx
Each FIT participating company is given a numerical company ID, which is communicated to Company Admins separately. Also, when you sign in to the Company Admin website (described later), the URL ends with the company ID.
  3. Attach the above Excel file to the following email and send it . Companies that are required to PW protect attachments should set pw to "fit2021" before submitting .
    1. To: fitsupport@relola.com
    2. Subject: participant bulk registration

After sending an email, it may take up to 24 hours to complete the registration. After successful registration, you will receive a notification email.

Participants who applied for corporate registration should collect the participation fee in-house and transfer it to the bank account designated by FIT in the name of the corporation.

Company Admins can submit corporate registrations as many times as you like.

Registration by this method is only for new registrations, and information of existing participants cannot be updated. If the Excel file submitted contains a participant who has already registered via individual registration / payment, this participant will not be registered, his/her existing data not be updated.

We recommend the following operations for passwords.

  1. Enter a random password for all participants (or the same password for all participants) in column B of the Excel file.
  2. After the registration is completed, you don’t notify the participants about their password but instead, ask participants to reset their password; the participants themselves then set their new password.

The procedure for resetting the password is as follows.

  1. Open https://fitforcharity.relola.com/en and click "Register / Sign in".
  2. Click "Forgot your password?"

Website for Company Admins

Company Admins can do the following at https://www.relola.com :

  1. See the registration status of your company's participants.
  2. Remove the person registered as a participant from your company (the registration itself will not be deleted).
  3. Delete posts of your firm’s participants.

Please sign in with the email address you applied to FIT as a Company Admin. Chrome is the recommended web browser. Relola does not work properly with Internet Explorer.

Open https://www.relola.com/login and enter the email address of the Company Admin and the password you received from FIT.

When you sign in, you will see the following. The company ID is reflected at the end of the URL.

Confirm registration and participation status

By clicking the "Report" tab and selecting from "Select a report", you can see the reports to review the registration and participation status of your participants.

  2. Up to 11 participants can be displayed at one time, and if there are more participants , they will be displayed separately for each 11 items. You can display another page by operating the lower right part of the screen.
  3. You can download the file in CSV / XLSX / JSON format by clicking the download icon at the bottom right of the screen. Kanji and kana are not displayed correctly when opening a CSV file in Microsoft Excel.

Troubleshooting incomplete registrations: Verification code not entered

Potential Causes
There are three possible causes.

  1. The confirmation email has actually been delivered, but it has been categorized as promotion or spam, and participants may have missed it. It is known that confirmation emails from the FIT Relola app are often categorized as "promotion" by Gmail; Outlook.com and Hotmail may categorize these as junk email.
  2. User entered the email address incorrectly.
  3. The confirmation email was blocked.

Participant didn’t notice verification code email receipt
When a participant reports that they have not received the confirmation email, first consider the possibility of 1 above and confirm with the participant. If the user finds the confirmation email, the issue is easily solved

If the user has the verification code input screen open, he/she can proceed without any problems.

If the participant has closed the confirmation code input screen, ask him to open https://fitforcharity.relola.com/ja (Japanese) or https://fitforcharity.relola.com/en (English). If the user is using the same web browser he/she used to register, he/she can resume the registration process by entering the confirmation code.

If the confirmation code input screen does not appear when you open https://fitforcharity.relola.com/ja or https://fitforcharity.relola.com/en (this happens when using a different device or browser than the one used before), the user will be asked to enter the email address and password he/she used to registered. The user will next be prompted to enter the verification code.

User searched for verification email but can't find it
On the Company Admin website, select the Reports tab and select Company Admin: Incomplete Registrations -- Unverified Email. This will show participants who have not entered a verification code. You may see yourself listed but that's okay.

There is a column called "email verification code" on the right side of the downloaded report or table shown on the screen, and the verification code of each participant is displayed there. Only participants who have not entered a verification code will appear in this table.

Check the user’s email address, and if it is correct, provide the user with the confirmation code and ask him/her to perform the same operation as explained above.

If the email address is incorrect, ask the user to register again.

Troubleshooting incomplete registrations: Participation fee not paid

If the participation fee has not been paid, please follow the steps below.

If the participant has closed the payment form, ask them to open https://fitforcharity.relola.com/ja (Japanese) or https://fitforcharity.relola.com/en (English). If the user uses the web browser he/she used to register, he/she can resume the registration process.

If the user uses a different device or browser than before, opening https://fitforcharity.relola.com/ja or https://fitforcharity.relola.com/en does not show the payment form. In that case, the user can resume the registration process by entering the registered email address and password in the sign-in form.

Deleting Posts

Records posted by participants can be modified by the participants themselves, but cannot be deleted. Therefore, when a participant requests deletion, the Company Admin can delete the post by following the steps below.

  1. Click the Activity tab.
  2. Click "..." of the post you want to delete.
  3. Click "Delete".
  4. Click "Yes".
